FiiO Jadeaudio Gigas 1 Desktop Headphone Amplifier

The FiiO GIGAS 1 is a compact, high-power desktop headphone amplifier designed to deliver desktop-grade power in a remarkably small footprint. Built around a discrete Class AB transistor current-amplification circuit, the GIGAS 1 provides high-current, low-impedance output and up to 4600mW + 4600mW balanced output power with a 12V PD power supply.

Designed with both IEMs and full-size headphones in mind, the GIGAS 1 features two gain levels, 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended headphone outputs, plus 3.5mm and RCA inputs. Its compact aluminium alloy chassis makes it well suited to desktop listening setups where space is limited without compromising on driving power.

 

Discrete Class AB Amplification

At the heart of the GIGAS 1 is a discrete amplification circuit combining an op-amp with transistor current amplification. The circuit uses ON Semiconductor MJE243G and MJE253G transistors, enabling high-current and low-impedance output. With up to 4600mW + 4600mW of balanced output power, the amplifier is designed to drive full-size headphones and IEMs with ease.

4.4mm Balanced and 3.5mm Headphone Outputs

The GIGAS 1 provides both 4.4mm balanced and 3.5mm single-ended headphone outputs, offering compatibility with a wide range of headphones. The 3.5mm output also supports CTIA-compliant microphone passthrough, making it suitable for gaming voice chat, vocal calls and multimedia entertainment.

Flexible 3.5mm and RCA Inputs

With both 3.5mm and RCA inputs, the GIGAS 1 can be connected to a wide range of source equipment, including digital audio players, smartphones, computers and CD players. It can be used for HiFi music listening as well as desktop multimedia entertainment.

 

Two Gain Levels

A simple toggle switch lets you select between high and low gain. This allows the GIGAS 1 to accommodate high-sensitivity IEMs as well as low-sensitivity planar headphones and high-impedance full-size headphones.

5V and 12V PD Power Input

The GIGAS 1 uses a USB Type-C power input and supports both standard 5V power and 12V PD power, automatically adapting between modes. A computer or 5V adapter can power the amplifier for most headphones, while a 12V PD power supply unlocks its higher driving power, dynamics and soundstage.

Compact Aluminium Alloy Design

The GIGAS 1 features a minimalist aluminium alloy chassis measuring approximately 132 × 60 × 40mm excluding the feet, with a weight of approximately 210g. Its compact design makes it easy to integrate into smaller desktop setups, while the oversized volume knob and mechanical toggle switches provide straightforward control.

The amplifier is available in black, silver and green, with an anodized aluminium alloy finish and warm retro lighting designed to complement a variety of desktop environments.
